Richard is an amazing raku artist in South Newfane, Vermont. He was a family friend growing up. We both reminisced over a foggy memory of him throwing my shoes into Rick's Tavern bar sink - I cried. Feeling bad, he throw his shoes across U.S. Route 30 into a field, riding home barefoot on his BMW motorcycle...
